H2H Challenge, Sentimentally Yours

Well, I'm feeling way more on the ball this week! Look at me go.
Feeling very fortunate & blessed to have had a wonderful & successful first week of school, I thought it only fitting to make a couple cards for some fabulous teachers. I actually love how these cards turned out and making the background paper was so much fun! I made two 12x12 sheets and I adore it so much I think I will create some more for scrapbook pages. It's fun and far from perfect ... just like me! My little guys are in Grade one this year so I went with a kind of primary colors theme; twilight, cranberry, desert sand, creme brule, and olive. The stampe sets I used were the September word puzzle and the Thank You set. I'm sorry I can never seem to remember the exact names ... my room's like at least thirty feet away so to get up and walk there to confirm the names would be next to impossible. I'm sure you can understand. Anyway, hope you like it, another very simple but very DONE card. That's what I'm going for these days, done.
Thank you very much for looking and have a most delightful day! :)

Wait For Me! I want to play too! H2H

Well, the weeks keep flying by and I keep missing the deadlines for the wonderful Heart2Heart challenges, so I tried a little stampin' yesterday in between a beautiful blue sky bike ride with my beautiful blue eyed boys and creating a scrumptious sockeye salmon supper. Go me. I put the cards together this morning and went grocery shopping while waiting for the ink to dry :)

So, I have to say, I was not super impressed with the color combo but have been bound and determined to play this week if it kills me so here's what I did. I used CTMH's glorious textured cardstock that I bought on that smokin' deal they had a few months back. I random stamped the Honey with Honey and Autumn Terracotta and inked the edges with the same colors also. Card base in the New England Ivy, stamped the sentiment and double matted both. Super Simple. I used some of these darling and delightful wooden butterfly buttons to finish it off, I dragged them across the Autumn Terracotta Ink Pad ... hope that will lighten up a bit over night.
I know nothing fancy but hey, I did it. I played. Again, go me.
